Greetings, and thank you for visiting my website. I'm Elise Mendoza, a senior pursuing a B.F.A. in musical theatre at Texas Christian University. Rather than hailing from a specific place, I consider myself a nomad—a wanderer who has embraced the experience of residing in various locales over my 21 years. To date, I've had the privilege of calling six different places home: Miami, Florida; Honolulu, Hawaii; Okinawa, Japan; Panama City, Florida; Wichita, Kansas; Fort Worth, Texas; and Seoul, South Korea. Needless to say, I've certainly been on the move.
Of all the places I've lived, Seoul, South Korea, holds a special place in my heart. During my five-month study abroad experience there, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the world of hip-hop dance at the renowned 1 Million studio. My passion for this dance style runs deep, and I had the honor of learning from exceptional choreographers such as Sieun Lee, Ara Cho, and Tina Boo. While in Seoul, I also had the chance to revisit Japan, where I originally discovered another one of my great passions—anime. You could say I'm a bit of a "child adult" as I absolutely adore cartoons and anime, having indulged in the entirety of 45 different shows. Furthermore, my enthusiasm extends to voiceover work, particularly character and anime voiceover.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my world, and I hope you enjoy delving further into my artistic journey as an actor and performer.
